He gained wider recognition for portraying the lead in the romantic drama Laila Majnu (2018) and has since featured in a range of acclaimed films and web series across the romance, supernatural, crime and thriller genres.

Career

Tiwary made his early mark on screen with the television series Yudh (2014), followed by his first major film role in Tu Hai Mera Sunday (2016). His breakthrough came with Laila Majnu (2018), an adaptation of the classic tragic romance set in Kashmir, in which he played the title role of Qais (Majnu).

In 2020, he appeared in the supernatural period film Bulbbul, which was released on a streaming platform and brought him to a larger audience. Over the following years he became a recurring presence in long-form Indian streaming dramas, with critically noted performances in the crime series Khakee: The Bihar Chapter (2022), the gangster saga Bambai Meri Jaan (2023), and the espionage thriller Kaala (2023).

In 2024 he featured in the ensemble comedy Madgaon Express, directed by Kunal Kemmu, and in the heist thriller Sikandar Ka Muqaddar.
