The Blue Line, on which Assembly station is situated, was constructed and opened in phases, connecting key commercial, administrative, and residential nodes across Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

Significance

The station's primary significance lies in its proximity to the seat of the Telangana legislature and to surrounding institutions of public importance. It also offers connectivity to nearby areas such as Nampally, Khairatabad, and Lakdikapul through bus and road links, integrating with broader urban transport in central Hyderabad.
