Ashwini Akkunji

Ashwini Chidananda Shetty Akkunji is an Indian sprinter from Karnataka, best known for her performances in the 400 metres and 400 metres hurdles, and as a member of the Indian women's 4×400 metres relay team during the late 2000s and early 2010s. Ashwini hails from the coastal Karnataka region and rose through Indian domestic athletics circuits before being inducted into national training camps under the Athletics Federation of India (AFI).
