Alwal railway station is a small railway station serving the suburb of Alwal in the northern part of the Hyderabad–Secunderabad metropolitan area, in the Indian state of Telangana. The station lies on the Secunderabad–Manmad route and is one of the halts on the Multi-Modal Transport System (MMTS) corridor extending into the suburbs of Secunderabad.

Overview
Alwal serves commuters from the residential and military neighbourhoods of Alwal, Bolarum and Lothkunta, areas closely associated with the cantonment establishments around Secunderabad. The station functions principally as a halt for suburban services rather than as a major junction, with most long-distance trains on the route passing through without stopping.
Location and connectivity
The station is situated on the rail corridor that runs north from Secunderabad Junction towards Bolarum, Medchal and onward towards Manmad in Maharashtra. Nearby stations on the same line include Bolarum and Cantonment. Road access is provided through the Alwal main road, which connects the station to the Secunderabad–Karimnagar highway and to other parts of the twin cities.
