Akhilesh Das Gupta (1961–2017) was an Indian politician, businessman and educationist from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He served as a Member of the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament, and held office as a Union Minister of State in the Government of India. He was associated at different times with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and the Indian National Congress, and was prominent in the educational and civic life of Lucknow.
