All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Deoghar (AIIMS Deoghar) is a medical university and hospital located in Deoghar, Jharkhand, India. It is one of the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and commenced operations in 2019. The institute functions autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, and has been established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY). It is among the Institutes of National Importance in India.

Background

AIIMS Deoghar is part of the wider network of All India Institutes of Medical Sciences set up by the Government of India to expand tertiary healthcare and medical education across the country.
