Woxsen University is a state private university located in Sangareddy district of Telangana, India. Established under the Telangana State Private Universities Act, it offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes across disciplines such as business, technology, design, architecture, liberal arts and law. The university grew out of Woxsen School of Business, which had been operating as an autonomous business school before the institution attained university status.

The institution was founded by promoters associated with the Hyderabad-based Bhupesh Group of industries, with the original Woxsen School of Business positioned as an independent management institute on the outskirts of Hyderabad. As demand grew for multidisciplinary programmes, the campus and academic structure were expanded, and the Government of Telangana subsequently recognised it as a private university.
The campus is situated on the Hyderabad–Bijapur highway, within commuting distance of Hyderabad city. It is a residential campus with academic blocks, hostels, sports facilities, and laboratories, and houses the schools of business, technology, architecture and planning, arts and design, liberal arts and humanities, and law.
The university is organised into a number of constituent schools that offer programmes including the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Design (B.Des), Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch), and various Bachelor of Arts and law degrees. It also runs doctoral (Ph.D.) programmes and executive education courses, and houses research centres focused on areas such as artificial intelligence, sustainability, and business analytics.
Woxsen is part of a wave of private universities established in Telangana following the enactment of the state's private universities legislation, which allowed self-financed institutions to operate as full-fledged universities with degree-granting powers. The institution contributes to the higher education ecosystem around Hyderabad, a region that hosts a concentration of business schools, engineering institutes and research bodies.
