Vineeth Kumar (born 11 November 1977) is an Indian actor, director and screenwriter associated primarily with the Malayalam film industry. His career has spanned several decades, beginning as a child artist in the late 1980s and later progressing to direction and screenwriting.

Vineeth Kumar entered Malayalam cinema as a child performer in the late 1980s. His early work brought him quick critical recognition, and he subsequently broadened his involvement in the industry to include direction and screenwriting.
Vineeth Kumar made his acting debut in 1988 with the film Padippura. In the same year, he featured in the epic historical drama Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha, directed by Hariharan and written by M. T. Vasudevan Nair. He portrayed the younger version of Chandu Chekavar, the central character played by Mammootty. His performance earned him the Kerala State Film Award.
He made his directorial debut with Ayal Njanalla (2015), a romantic comedy starring Fahadh Faasil.
Vineeth Kumar is among the child performers of late 1980s Malayalam cinema whose early work was honoured at the state level. His role as the young Chandu Chekavar in Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha, a film widely regarded as a landmark in Malayalam historical drama, remains his best-known on-screen contribution.
