Overview

Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya (English: North Bengal Agricultural University) is a public state agricultural university located at Pundibari, about 11 km north-west of Cooch Behar in West Bengal, India. The university serves the northern districts of West Bengal and focuses on agricultural education, research and extension activities relevant to the region.

The university was established in 2001 through an Act of the West Bengal legislature. It functions as a state agricultural university dedicated to higher education and research in the agricultural sciences.
