Uday Samant is an Indian politician from Maharashtra and a leader of the Shiv Sena. He represents the Ratnagiri constituency in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and serves as the Cabinet Minister for Industries in the Government of Maharashtra.
Samant has had a sustained electoral record in the Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha, having been elected for five consecutive terms in 2004, 2009, 2014, 2019 and 2024. His political base lies in the Konkan region, with Ratnagiri serving as his principal area of representation.
