Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU) is a private university located in Jolly Grant, in the north Indian state of Uttarakhand. The campus lies about 25 kilometres south-east of Dehradun city and in close proximity to Jolly Grant Airport.
The university is named after the Indian yogi Swami Rama, whose teachings and institutional initiatives form the philosophical foundation of the university. SRHU operates as a private institution and is part of a larger campus that includes facilities associated with the legacy of its namesake.
