Surbhi Jyoti is an Indian actress and former radio jockey who works primarily in Hindi television. She is best known for playing Zoya Farooqui in the Zee TV serial Qubool Hai (2012–2016) and Bela in the Colors TV supernatural drama Naagin 3 (2018–2019).

Surbhi Jyoti was born and raised in Jalandhar, Punjab. She completed her schooling in Jalandhar and later pursued a postgraduate degree in English Literature. Before entering television, she briefly worked as a radio jockey in her hometown.
Jyoti began her on-screen career with the Punjabi-language daily soap Panchhi Bole on PTC Punjabi, which gave her early exposure as a lead actress. She also appeared in the Punjabi film Munde Patiale De in the early stages of her career.
Her breakthrough came in 2012 when she was cast as Zoya Farooqui, the female lead opposite Karan Singh Grover, in Zee TV's Qubool Hai, produced by 4 Lions Films. The serial, which dealt with a Muslim family setting, became one of Zee TV's flagship shows. Jyoti played Zoya in the original arc and returned later in the show as the character's daughter Sanam Ahmed Khan, opposite Karanvir Bohra. The show concluded in January 2016.
In 2018, Jyoti was cast as Bela in the third season of Ekta Kapoor's supernatural franchise Naagin on Colors TV. Naagin 3, in which she co-starred with Pearl V Puri and Anita Hassanandani, became one of the most-watched Hindi entertainment shows of its season and ran until mid-2019.
She has also appeared in non-fiction formats, including the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi: Made in India on Colors TV in 2020, and has featured in several music videos in Hindi and Punjabi.
Jyoti has received several Indian television industry honours for her performances in Qubool Hai and Naagin 3, including nominations and wins at the Indian Telly Awards, Zee Gold Awards and Gold Awards in categories recognising popular female leads.
Surbhi Jyoti is regarded as one of the prominent female leads of Hindi general entertainment television in the 2010s. Her portrayal of Zoya in Qubool Hai contributed to mainstream visibility of a Muslim-led family drama on Hindi prime-time, while her work in Naagin 3 established her within the supernatural fantasy genre that has been a staple of Indian weekend programming.
