Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu (born 27 March 1964) is an Indian politician serving as the 7th Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh. He assumed office on 11 December 2022 and also functions as the Leader of the House in the state Legislative Assembly.
A member of the Indian National Congress, Sukhu represents the Nadaun assembly constituency in Himachal Pradesh and is a four-time MLA from the seat. He continues to hold the constituency as the incumbent legislator.
Within the party organisation, Sukhu served as the President of the Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee from 2013 to 2019, leading the state unit during that period before taking on his subsequent legislative and governmental responsibilities.
