Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University is a state university located in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, India. The university is named in honour of Sri Dev Suman (1916–1944), a freedom fighter from the erstwhile princely state of Tehri Garhwal, who died after a prolonged hunger strike in jail while protesting against autocratic rule.
