Srabanti Chatterjee (born 13 August 1987) is an Indian actress and politician who works primarily in Bengali cinema, with some appearances in Hindi films. She is regarded as one of the prominent leading actresses of the contemporary Bengali film industry.
Chatterjee began her career as a child artist in 1997 with Mayar Badhon, directed by Swapan Saha. She came into the limelight in 2003 with a lead role in Champion, which established her as a popular performer in mainstream Bengali cinema.
Over the years, she has appeared in a range of romantic and family drama films, and is noted for her work in titles such as Amanush (2010), Shikari (2016) and Bhootchakra Pvt. Ltd. (2019). Her performances have earned her a wide audience in West Bengal as well as among Bengali-speaking viewers in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and elsewhere.
Apart from acting, Chatterjee is also active in public life as a politician. She has a son, Abhimanyu Chatterjee.
