Shri Venkateshwara University is a state private university located in the Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh, India. It was established under the Uttar Pradesh state legislature as a self-financed institution, and offers undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and diploma programmes across a range of disciplines.

The university was set up to expand access to higher education in the western Uttar Pradesh region, particularly in and around the town of Gajraula, which lies on National Highway 9 between Delhi and Moradabad. As a state private university, it derives its degree-granting authority from an Act of the Uttar Pradesh state legislature and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under the relevant provisions of the UGC Act.
The institution is organised into faculties and schools covering areas such as engineering and technology, management, computer applications, pharmacy, agricultural sciences, education, law, journalism and mass communication, paramedical and allied health sciences, basic and applied sciences, and humanities. Programmes are offered at the certificate, diploma, bachelor's, master's and doctoral (Ph.D.) levels.
The main campus is situated in Gajraula in Amroha district, in the Moradabad division of Uttar Pradesh. The campus houses academic blocks, laboratories, a central library, hostels and sports facilities.
Shri Venkateshwara University is one of several private universities established in Uttar Pradesh during the expansion of private higher education in India in the early 21st century. It contributes to professional and technical education in a region that is otherwise served largely by affiliating universities and a smaller number of central and state institutions.
