Parikh was born and raised in Vadodara, Gujarat. She entered the entertainment industry through Gujarati-language productions before transitioning to Hindi television in Mumbai. Her early exposure to acting came through regional theatre and small-screen projects in Gujarat.
Parikh began her acting career with the Star Plus daily soap Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? Ek Baar Phir, where she played the female lead Dr Aastha Agnihotri opposite Avinash Sachdev. The show was a spin-off of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? and ran on Star Plus.
Parikh gained wider recognition for her portrayal of Gauri Kumari Sharma, later Gauri Omkara Singh Oberoi, in Ishqbaaaz. The serial, produced by Gul Khan's 4 Lions Films, paired her opposite Kunal Jaisingh as one of three Oberoi brothers. She also appeared in the spin-off Dil Boley Oberoi, which centred on the same characters before being merged back into the parent show.
