Shobha Karandlaje

Overview

Shobha Karandlaje (born 23 October 1966) is an Indian politician from Karnataka affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). She currently serves as Minister of State in the Ministry of Labour and Employment and the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the Third Modi Ministry.

In the Second Modi Ministry, she served as Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare and as Minister of State for Food Processing Industries. She also holds the position of Vice President of the BJP's Karnataka unit.

Karandlaje is a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha, representing the Bangalore North constituency since 2024. Earlier, she represented the Udupi Chikmagalur Lok Sabha constituency from 2014 to 2024. Prior to her tenure in Parliament, she served as a cabinet minister in the Government of Karnataka.
