Shaheed Nandkumar Patel Vishwavidyalaya, also referred to as Shaheed Nandkumar Patel University, is a state public university located in Raigarh, in the state of Chhattisgarh, India. The university serves as an affiliating institution for colleges in the Raigarh region and is named in memory of Shaheed Nandkumar Patel, a political figure from Chhattisgarh.

The university was established by the Government of Chhattisgarh as part of efforts to expand higher education access in the eastern part of the state. Prior to its creation, colleges in the Raigarh district were affiliated with other state universities in Chhattisgarh. The carving out of a dedicated university for the region was intended to ease administrative load on existing institutions and to bring affiliating, examination, and academic functions closer to local students.
The institution is named after Nandkumar Patel, a senior leader of the Indian National Congress in Chhattisgarh who served as a state minister and as state party president. He was killed in the Jhiram Ghati attack in Bastar in May 2013, an event that has shaped the commemorative naming of several public institutions in the state.
