The School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi (SPA Delhi) is an Institute of National Importance located in Delhi, India. It specialises in education and research in the fields of planning and architecture, offering programmes across undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels in architecture, planning and design disciplines.
SPA Delhi is one of three Schools of Planning and Architecture in India, alongside SPA Bhopal and SPA Vijayawada. These institutions were established by the Government of India to promote and develop higher education in architecture and physical planning.
The institute functions as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. It is administered by its own Board of Governors, which is responsible for policy decisions and the overall governance of the institution.
