Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya, formerly known as Sarguja University, is a state university located in Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, India. It is a teaching-cum-affiliating university serving the Sarguja region of the state.
The university was established and incorporated by the Chhattisgarh Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam No. 18 of 2008, on 2 September 2008. It was set up with the aim of serving society through the dissemination of knowledge across various disciplines.
As a teaching-cum-affiliating institution, the university affiliates 75 colleges and operates seven departments along with one constituent college. Through its affiliated colleges and departments, it offers academic programmes to students across the region.
