Samyuktha Varma

Samyuktha Varma (born 28 November 1979) is a former Indian actress who worked in Malayalam cinema between 1999 and 2002. During her brief but acclaimed career, she appeared in 18 films and was recognised with two Kerala State Film Awards for Best Actress and two Filmfare Awards for Best Actress.

Varma made her cinematic debut in 1999 with Veendum Chila Veettukaryangal, in which she played the female lead. Her performance earned her the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress, an unusually early recognition for a debutant. Over the next three years she became one of the prominent leading actresses of Malayalam cinema, building a filmography of 18 films before withdrawing from screen work in 2002.
