Sam Robson

Overview

Sam David Robson (born 1 July 1989) is an Australian-born English cricketer who plays for Middlesex County Cricket Club. A right-handed batsman, he also bowls occasional legbreak.

Born to an Australian father and an English mother, Robson represented Australia at under-19 level before qualifying to play for England in August 2013.

In 2012, he became the first batsman to score a first-class hundred in England in the month of March, an unusual feat given the early-season conditions traditionally associated with English cricket.
