Rupaidiha is a village and small town in the Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh, India. It lies on the international border between India and Nepal, directly opposite the Nepalese town of Nepalgunj, and serves as one of the principal land border crossings between the two countries in the central Himalayan region.

Rupaidiha is situated in the Terai belt, a low-lying plain that runs along the foothills of the Himalayas. The town stands on the Indian side of the open India–Nepal border, with the Nepalese town of Nepalgunj only a short distance across the frontier. The area forms part of the Gangetic plain and is characterised by alluvial soils and an agrarian landscape dominated by rice, wheat and sugarcane cultivation.
Rupaidiha is one of the major designated transit points along the India–Nepal border and is recognised as an authorised crossing for trade and movement of people. Customs and immigration facilities operate on both sides, with the Indian side managed by central agencies including the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), which is responsible for guarding the India–Nepal frontier. The crossing handles substantial passenger movement as well as bilateral trade in goods such as agricultural produce, textiles and manufactured items.
Rupaidiha falls within the administrative jurisdiction of Bahraich district. Local civic affairs are handled through the relevant Nagar Panchayat / village body, while law and order, customs and border-related matters involve a combination of state police, central paramilitary forces and central government agencies due to its location on an international boundary.
