Ruhanika Dhawan is an Indian child actress known primarily for her work in Hindi television. She gained wide recognition for portraying Ruhi Bhalla, the adopted daughter of the lead characters, in the long-running Star Plus serial Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, produced by Balaji Telefilms. Her work on the show, which aired from 2013 to 2019, made her one of the most familiar child performers on Indian television during that period.

Ruhanika Dhawan began acting at a young age, appearing in television advertisements and small screen roles before securing the part that brought her sustained public attention. Like several other Indian child artists, she balanced her acting commitments with schooling.
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, based loosely on Manju Kapur's novel Custody, premiered on Star Plus in December 2013. Dhawan was cast as Ruhi, the young daughter at the centre of the show's custody and family drama, opposite Divyanka Tripathi (as Ishita) and Karan Patel (as Raman). The character remained central to the show's emotional storyline through much of its run, and Dhawan continued in the role as the series progressed, with the show concluding in December 2019.
Alongside her television work, Dhawan has appeared in dance and reality-based programmes featuring child performers, and has participated in promotional events associated with her primary show. She has also featured in music videos and short-format content aimed at family audiences.
Her performance as Ruhi was recognised at television awards ceremonies that include categories for child artists, and she became a recurring presence in popular culture coverage of Indian general entertainment channels during the mid-2010s.
Dhawan is often cited as an example of the prominent role child actors play in Indian prime-time soap operas, where younger characters are frequently used as narrative anchors in family dramas. Her long association with a single show across multiple years is relatively uncommon among child performers on Indian television.
