Robert James Nicol (born 28 May 1983) is a former New Zealand cricketer who played across all formats of the game. A right-handed opening batsman, he also bowled right-arm off spin occasionally.
At the domestic level, Nicol represented Auckland and Canterbury in first-class, List A and Twenty20 cricket. He served as captain of the Auckland side during his time with the team.
In June 2018, Nicol announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.
