Ravindra Dattatray Chavan (born 20 September 1970) is an Indian politician affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He serves as the President of the BJP's Maharashtra unit and represents the Dombivli Assembly constituency in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.
Chavan has been elected as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Dombivli in the elections of 2009, 2014, 2019 and 2024. From 2016 to 2019, he held cabinet portfolios in the Government of Maharashtra, including Ports, Information and Technology, Medical Education, and Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection.
In the Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government, Chavan served as a cabinet minister handling the Public Works Department (excluding Public Undertakings) and the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection departments. During this period, he also served as the Guardian Minister for Palghar and Sindhudurg districts.
Within the party organisation, Chavan was appointed General Secretary of the BJP's Maharashtra unit in 2020. On 11 January 2025, he was appointed Working President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Maharashtra.
