Rakul Preet Singh (born 10 October 1990) is an Indian actress who works predominantly in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil cinema. She began her career as a model before transitioning to films, and has since established herself across multiple South Indian and Bollywood productions. Singh is a recipient of a SIIMA Award and has received four nominations at the Filmfare Awards South.

Singh started her professional career as a model before moving into acting. Her first screen appearance came in the Kannada film Gilli (2009), after which she gradually expanded her work into the Telugu, Tamil and Hindi film industries.
