Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) is a State university located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. It was established under The Rajasthan University of Health Sciences Act, 2005 (Act No. 1 of 2005), passed by the Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha.
The university was constituted on 25 February 2005 and began functioning in January 2006. It was set up to provide a dedicated institutional framework for health sciences education in the state.
RUHS operates its own constituent college and also functions as an affiliating university for medical and health science institutions in Rajasthan. Its affiliation network includes government-run and society-run colleges, as well as certain privately run medical colleges. In addition to its affiliating role, the university supports affiliated institutions in academic and research activities.
