Raiganj University is a public state university located in Raiganj, in the Uttar Dinajpur district of West Bengal, India. It is recognised as the oldest higher educational institution in the North Dinajpur district.
The institution previously functioned for a long period as a constituent college of the University of North Bengal. It was elevated to the status of a public state university on 3 February 2015 through an Act of the West Bengal legislature.
The university offers programmes at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels across various disciplines.
