Pulkit Samrat is an Indian actor and former model who works primarily in Hindi cinema. He is best known for portraying Choocha in the Fukrey comedy film series produced by Excel Entertainment.

Samrat was raised in Delhi and pursued modelling before transitioning to acting. He moved to Mumbai to seek opportunities in television and film, where his early break came through the small screen.
Samrat began his on-screen career in Hindi television. He appeared in shows on Star Plus, including the long-running family drama Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, and played a lead role in Bidaai, which raised his profile with mainstream audiences.
He made his Hindi film debut with Yash Raj Films in Bittoo Boss (2012), directed by Supavitra Babul, in which he played the title role of a wedding videographer in small-town Punjab.
Samrat gained wider recognition with Fukrey (2013), directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba and produced under Excel Entertainment by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. He reprised the role of Choocha in the sequels Fukrey Returns (2017) and Fukrey 3 (2023). The franchise, an ensemble comedy set in Delhi, became one of the more durable mid-budget comedy properties in Hindi cinema.
His other Hindi film appearances include Sanam Re (2016), Junooniyat (2016), Veerey Ki Wedding (2018), Pagalpanti (2019), Taish (2020), Suswagatam Khushaamadeed (2022) and Bhagam Bhag-era ensemble comedies. Taish, directed by Bejoy Nambiar, was released in a dual format as both a film and a web series on ZEE5.
Samrat was previously married to Shweta Rohira; the marriage ended in divorce. He has been associated in public reporting with actress Kriti Kharbanda.
Within Hindi cinema, Samrat is associated with the comedy ensemble space, particularly through the Fukrey films, which helped establish a recognisable set-up of Delhi-based slacker characters in mainstream Bollywood comedy of the 2010s.
