Parvatibai Chowgule College offers undergraduate degrees across the streams of arts, science and commerce, along with selected postgraduate programmes. As an autonomous college, it has the authority to frame its syllabi, introduce new courses, and reform examination patterns subject to oversight by the affiliating university and the University Grants Commission (UGC). The college has adopted a choice-based credit system and has introduced interdisciplinary and skill-oriented programmes alongside its traditional disciplines.
The campus is situated in Gogol, on the outskirts of Margao, the commercial capital of Goa. Its status as an autonomous institution places it among a small group of colleges in Goa that have attained academic independence, reflecting recognition of its academic standards and administrative capacity.
