Chauhan began her television career in the mid-2000s with supporting roles before being cast in Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai, which premiered on Star Plus in 2007. In the show, produced by Rajan Shahi, she played Ragini, one of the two cousins at the centre of the narrative, opposite Sara Khan's Sadhana.
