Page Industries was promoted by the Genomal family, who had a long association with Jockey International through their distribution business in the Philippines. The family secured the Indian licence for Jockey and incorporated Page Industries to manufacture and market the brand domestically. Manufacturing operations were set up in and around Bengaluru, where the company continues to operate multiple facilities along with distribution centres serving the Indian retail network.
The company sells through a wide multi-channel network that includes large-format stores, multi-brand outlets, exclusive brand outlets branded as Jockey stores, and online platforms. Its product portfolio spans men's and women's innerwear, thermals, leisurewear, athleisure, kidswear and socks under Jockey, and competition and leisure swimwear and accessories under Speedo.
Manufacturing is concentrated in southern India, with units handling knitting, dyeing, cutting, stitching and finishing. The company operates a hub-and-spoke distribution model, supplying tens of thousands of retail points across India. Marketing is centred on the Jockey brand identity, supported by exclusive brand outlets in metro and tier-II cities and a growing e-commerce presence.
Page Industries is widely regarded as one of the leading branded innerwear companies in India and is often cited as an example of a successful long-term licensing partnership between an international brand and an Indian operating company. Its consistent presence in Indian capital markets has made it a closely tracked stock in the consumer discretionary segment, and the Jockey brand under its stewardship has become one of the most recognised innerwear labels in the country.
