O. P. Jindal Global University (JGU) is a state private university located in Sonipat, Haryana, India. Established under the O. P. Jindal Global University Act, 2009 of the Haryana state legislature, it is a non-profit institution founded in memory of the industrialist Om Prakash Jindal. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and executive programmes across law, business, international affairs, public policy, liberal arts, journalism, art and architecture, banking and finance, environment, psychology and public health.

The university was set up by the Jindal Steel and Power Foundation as a philanthropic initiative of the Jindal family. It is named after Om Prakash Jindal, founder of the Jindal Group. The university campus is situated on the National Capital Region's northern edge, off National Highway 44, near Sonipat in Haryana.
JGU operates as a research-oriented, multidisciplinary institution and has positioned itself with an emphasis on global engagement, attracting faculty trained at international universities and pursuing collaborations with universities across Asia, Europe, North America and Australia.

The Jindal Global Law School is widely regarded as one of the leading law schools in India.
O. P. Jindal Global University is one of the earliest private universities in Haryana and among the more prominent privately funded research universities in India. It has contributed to the growth of legal education, public policy studies and interdisciplinary social science research in the country, and has been notable for its emphasis on internationalisation, faculty recruitment from abroad, and need-based scholarships.
