Nicholas Pooran (born 2 October 1995) is a Trinidadian cricketer who represented the West Indies cricket team in limited-overs formats and served as its captain. A wicket-keeper batter, he has played domestic cricket for Trinidad and Tobago and has been associated with the Lucknow Super Giants franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL). In June 2025, he announced his retirement from international cricket.

Pooran hails from Trinidad and represents Trinidad and Tobago at the regional domestic level in West Indian cricket. He came through the West Indies pathway as a wicket-keeper batter and progressed to senior international selection in his early twenties.
Pooran made his international debut for the West Indies in September 2016. He went on to become a regular member of the side in the limited-overs formats, representing the team until 2024.
In May 2022, Pooran was appointed captain of the West Indies limited-overs team. He stepped down from the captaincy in November 2022.
In June 2025, Pooran announced his retirement from international cricket.
In the Indian Premier League, Pooran plays for the Lucknow Super Giants. He has also been associated with various other franchise leagues across the world as a top-order batter known for his attacking style.
As a wicket-keeper batter and former captain of the West Indies limited-overs side, Pooran has been a leading figure in Caribbean cricket during the late 2010s and the 2020s.
