The National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS) is an autonomous learned society of medical professionals in India. Established to promote the growth of medical sciences in the country, the academy elects fellows and members from across the medical disciplines, organises continuing medical education programmes, and produces scholarly publications, including its journal of record.
