Natalie Ruth Sciver-Brunt (née Sciver; born 20 August 1992) is an English cricketer who represents England across all formats of the international game. She is regarded as one of the prominent all-rounders in the women's game and has featured prominently in England's setup over the course of her career.
Sciver-Brunt became the first cricketer to take a hat-trick for England in a Women's Twenty20 International match. She is also associated with an unconventional stroke known as the "Natmeg", a name derived from her own, used to describe occasions when she has hit the ball through her legs during a game.
She has also taken on leadership responsibilities for the national side. On 7 March 2021, she captained England for the first time in international cricket, leading the team in the third Women's T20I against New Zealand after regular captain Heather Knight was ruled out of the fixture due to an injury. On 6 September 2022, she was again named as England's captain for the home Women's T20I series against India, with Knight unavailable. Two days later, however, Sciver-Brunt announced that she had decided to withdraw from the series to focus on her mental health and well-being.
