Nargis Fakhri (born 20 October 1979) is an American actress who primarily works in Hindi-language films produced in India. After beginning her career as a model in the United States, she gained recognition in Indian cinema with the 2011 romantic drama Rockstar, and has since appeared in a range of mainstream Hindi productions as well as in Hollywood.

Fakhri began her professional life as a model in the United States before transitioning to acting. Her early modelling career provided the platform from which she moved into Indian cinema in the early 2010s.
Fakhri came to prominence in India with the 2011 romantic drama Rockstar, in which she played the female lead opposite Ranbir Kapoor. The film, directed by Imtiaz Ali, served as her introduction to Hindi-language audiences.
She went on to portray a war correspondent in the political thriller Madras Cafe (2013). She also starred in two commercially successful comedies, Main Tera Hero (2014) and Housefull 3 (2016), both of which placed her in mainstream Bollywood ensemble productions.
In 2015, Fakhri appeared in the Hollywood action comedy Spy, marking her crossover into American mainstream cinema.
