Murali Siddalingaiah (19 May 1964 – 8 September 2010), known professionally as Murali, was an Indian film actor who worked predominantly in Tamil cinema. He was popularly referred to by the title Puratchi Nayagan ("Revolutionary Hero") and built a career largely around sensitive, emotionally driven roles, often appearing as a perceptive singer or a tragic lover.

Murali pursued a career in films and became established as a leading actor in Tamil cinema, while also appearing in a smaller number of Kannada films. The screen name Puratchi Nayagan became closely associated with him over the course of his career.
Murali worked predominantly in Tamil-language films, where he was identified with characters that emphasised emotional depth. He was particularly noted for portraying perceptive singers and tragic lovers, themes that recurred across several of his roles. Alongside his Tamil work, he also acted in a few Kannada films.
Murali's son, Atharvaa, followed him into acting. Atharvaa made his debut in the 2010 Tamil film Baana Kaathadi, the same year in which Murali died.
Murali died on 8 September 2010, at the age of 46.
