Mohammad Ashraful (Bengali: মোহাম্মদ আশরাফুল; born 7 July 1984) is a Bangladeshi cricketer who has represented the Bangladesh men's national cricket team across Test, One Day International (ODI) and domestic formats. He served as captain of the national side in the late 2000s and is the holder of records for the fastest fifty in both Test and ODI cricket for any Bangladeshi player.

Ashraful played for the Bangladesh national team and captained the side between 2007 and 2009. During his time as captain, he led Bangladesh in 13 Test matches and 38 One Day Internationals, of which the team won eight ODIs.
At domestic level, he represented the Dhaka Division cricket team in Bangladesh's first-class and one-day competitions, and captained both sides on occasion.
Ashraful holds the record for the fastest fifty by a Bangladeshi batsman in both Test cricket and ODI cricket.
In 2014, the Bangladesh Cricket Board banned Ashraful for eight years after he was found guilty of match fixing. The ban was subsequently reduced to five years, with two years suspended. After completing the suspension period, Ashraful returned to playing domestic cricket.
Ashraful is regarded as one of the prominent figures in Bangladeshi cricket of the 2000s, both as a batsman known for record-setting innings and as a former captain of the national side. His subsequent suspension and return marked a notable episode in the disciplinary history of cricket in Bangladesh.
