Manish Paul is an Indian television presenter, actor and radio jockey, widely recognised for hosting reality shows on Hindi general entertainment channels. He rose to national prominence as the host of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa on Colors TV and has since become one of the most prolific anchors at major Bollywood awards ceremonies. He has also worked in Hindi cinema, with Mickey Virus (2013) being his debut as a lead actor.

Manish Paul was born and raised in Delhi. He completed his schooling in the city and went on to study at Deshbandhu College, affiliated with the University of Delhi. During his college years he developed an interest in performance and stage anchoring, which shaped his early career direction.
Paul began his professional career as a radio jockey in Delhi before moving into television. His early television work included hosting youth-oriented and dance-based programming, which helped him build a following on Hindi entertainment channels.
His major breakthrough came as the host of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa on Colors TV, where he anchored multiple seasons alongside co-host Bharti Singh and others. He also hosted seasons of Indian Idol on Sony Entertainment Television, alongside Aditya Narayan in some editions, becoming one of the recurring faces of the franchise.
Paul has additionally hosted ceremonies such as the IIFA Awards, Star Screen Awards, and various Filmfare and television award nights, often pairing with leading Bollywood actors as co-host.
Paul made his Hindi film debut as the lead in Mickey Virus (2013), a comedy thriller directed by Saurabh Varma in which he played a hacker assisting the Delhi Police. He later appeared in Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive (2016), a sequel to the 2010 satirical comedy. In 2023, he featured in Jugjugg Jeeyo-era productions and the comedy film Rafuchakkar (a JioCinema web series), and starred in the satirical film Rafu Chakkar-related projects, expanding into the OTT space.
He has appeared in streaming productions including the JioCinema series Rafuchakkar (2023), in which he played the lead role of a con artist. He has also undertaken stand-up and live stage tours in India and abroad.
Paul is married to Sangeeta Paul, and the couple has two children. He is based in Mumbai, where he works in the Hindi television and film industry.
