Vohra came through the age-group ranks in Indian domestic cricket, representing Punjab at the Under-19 level before progressing to the senior side. He is a right-handed batsman typically deployed at the top of the order, where his stroke-making in the powerplay overs has been a notable feature of his limited-overs game.
In domestic cricket, Vohra has appeared for Punjab in the Ranji Trophy (first-class), the Vijay Hazare Trophy (List A) and the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (Twenty20). His performances in the shorter formats helped him earn franchise contracts in the Indian Premier League.
In the IPL, Vohra has been associated with Kings XI Punjab, the franchise based in Mohali, where he featured as an opening batsman across multiple seasons. He has also turned out for other IPL franchises during the tournament's auction-driven team cycles.
A right-handed top-order batsman, Vohra is recognised for an attacking approach in Twenty20 cricket, especially during the fielding restrictions of the opening overs. In the longer formats he has typically batted in the upper middle order for Punjab.
Vohra is part of the generation of Punjab batsmen who progressed from state age-group cricket into senior domestic competition and the IPL during the 2010s, contributing to the franchise pool of Indian top-order players in the Twenty20 era.
