Maharaja Chhatrasal Bundelkhand University (MCBU) is a state university located in Chhatarpur, in the Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh, India. The university is named after Maharaja Chhatrasal, the historical ruler associated with the Bundelkhand region.

The university serves as an affiliating institution for higher education in the area and undertakes administrative responsibilities relating to its affiliated colleges. It functions within the framework of state-run universities in Madhya Pradesh.

The permanent campus of the university is being developed at Guraiya Road, near Peetambra Colony and Khare Colony along Satai Road in Chhatarpur. While construction of the campus is in progress, the university has been temporarily accommodated in the Commerce Block of Government Maharaja P.G. College, where its administrative and affiliation-related functions are carried out.
