Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE) is a deemed-to-be university dedicated to physical education, sports sciences, and sports training, located in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India. Named after Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi, the institute is funded by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, and is one of the leading centres for higher education in physical education in the country.

The institution was established as a college of physical education and was later upgraded to a national institute by the Government of India in recognition of its specialised role in training teachers, coaches, and researchers in physical education. It was subsequently granted the status of a deemed university, enabling it to award its own degrees and run independent academic programmes.
The Gwalior campus serves as the main institute, while a north-east regional centre at Guwahati extends its presence and academic mandate to eastern India.
