Krushna belongs to a family with deep roots in the Hindi film industry. His maternal uncle, Govinda, was one of the leading actors of Hindi cinema in the 1990s. His sister, Arti Singh, is also a television actress, and his cousin Ragini Khanna has worked extensively in Hindi television. He married actress Kashmera Shah, who has appeared in Hindi and South Indian films and on Indian reality television.
Krushna began his career in the early 2000s with supporting and lead roles in low- and mid-budget Hindi films. His film appearances include titles such as Yeh Kaisi Mohabbat and Bombay to Goa (2007), a remake of the 1972 film. While his film career did not establish him as a leading actor, it provided early on-screen exposure that he later channelled into television.
Krushna shifted focus to Indian television, where he found greater recognition as a comedian and host. He participated in dance and reality formats, and became a regular performer on televised comedy shows. He hosted and featured in programmes including Comedy Circus and its variants on Sony Entertainment Television, where he worked alongside other prominent Indian television comedians.
He went on to feature in Comedy Nights Bachao on Colors TV, and later joined The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony Entertainment Television. On The Kapil Sharma Show, he became known for performing multiple characters within sketches, including parodies and a popular cross-dressed character named "Sapna," which was previously associated with comedian Sunil Grover.
Krushna has hosted and appeared on several reality and non-fiction programmes on Indian television, including dance-based talent shows and celebrity-driven formats. He has also performed in live stage shows in India and abroad, often as part of touring comedy and variety acts featuring fellow television performers.
Krushna's on-screen style relies on physical comedy, mimicry, costume-based characters, and parody of Hindi film personalities, including frequent affectionate references to his uncle Govinda's filmography. Within Indian television, he is regarded as one of the consistent performers in the sketch-comedy and celebrity-roast format that became popular on Hindi general entertainment channels in the 2010s. His work has contributed to the mainstreaming of ensemble comedy programming on prime-time Indian television.
Krushna is married to actress Kashmera Shah; the couple have twin sons born through surrogacy. He has spoken publicly in Indian media about his family ties with Govinda, including periods of personal estrangement and reconciliation with his uncle.
