Kelappan Thampuran (born 1925) was an Indian first-class cricketer. He is among the cricketers from the princely Kochi (Cochin) royal family who participated in domestic cricket in mid-twentieth-century India.

The title Thampuran is associated with the male members of the erstwhile Kochi royal house of Kerala. Several members of the family took to organised cricket from the 1940s onward, when the Ranji Trophy and other domestic competitions were expanding in southern India.
Kelappan Thampuran played first-class cricket in the Indian domestic circuit. He is recorded among Indian first-class cricketers of his generation, a period during which sides representing Madras, Travancore-Cochin and allied regions competed in the Ranji Trophy.
His career forms part of the early cricketing tradition of Kerala and the wider south Indian region, when participation by members of princely families helped sustain organised cricket before the establishment of dedicated state associations in their modern form.
