Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, formerly known as Karunya University, is a private deemed university located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. It functions as an institution of higher education offering programmes across various disciplines.
The institution was founded by D. G. S. Dhinakaran along with his son Paul Dhinakaran. It was subsequently granted deemed-to-be-university status, after which it came to be known by its present name.
Situated in Coimbatore, the university is among the higher education institutions in the western region of Tamil Nadu.
