Karan Tacker is an Indian actor and television presenter known primarily for his work in Hindi television, web series, and Hindi cinema. He came to wider notice as the lead in the Star Plus romantic drama Love Ne Mila Di Jodi and later transitioned to digital platforms with roles in acclaimed series such as Special Ops and Khakee: The Bihar Chapter.

Tacker was born and raised in Mumbai. He attended Jamnabai Narsee School and later studied at Mithibai College. He began his career in the entertainment industry in the mid-2000s, taking up modelling and small television assignments before moving on to acting roles.
Tacker's early television appearances included a role in Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaah on Zee TV. He gained prominence with the Star Plus serial Love Ne Mila Di Jodi, in which he played the male lead Arjun Mehra opposite Kritika Kamra. The show aired from 2009 to 2011 and established him as a recognisable face on Hindi general entertainment television.
He subsequently hosted several non-fiction programmes, including the reality dating show Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya on Zing and the adventure-based series Halla Bol. He has also anchored awards events and televised celebrity interviews.
In 2020, Tacker featured in Neeraj Pandey's spy thriller Special Ops on Disney+ Hotstar, playing the role of Farooq Ali, a field agent. The series was well received and reprised his character in subsequent instalments of the franchise, including Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story.
In 2022, he played the role of IPS officer Amit Lodha in Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, a Netflix crime drama directed by Bhav Dhulia and produced by Neeraj Pandey, based on Lodha's book Bihar Diaries. The performance drew positive critical attention.
Tacker made his Hindi film appearance in supporting and ensemble roles, including the comedy Student of the Year 2 (2019), directed by Punit Malhotra.
Tacker is among a group of Indian television actors who successfully shifted to long-form streaming content during the late 2010s and early 2020s, reflecting a broader transition in the Indian entertainment industry from saas-bahu serials and reality hosting to original web programming. His casting in projects associated with filmmaker Neeraj Pandey contributed to his recognition as a performer in the espionage and crime thriller genres.
