Jess Jonassen

Overview

Jessica Louise Jonassen, born on 5 November 1992 in Rockhampton, Queensland, is an Australian cricketer who plays as a left-arm orthodox spin bowler. She has been a member of the Australian women's national team since 2012.

During her international career, Jonassen has been part of Australian sides that have won five ICC Women's T20 World Cups and one ICC Women's Cricket World Cup. She is also recognised as the fourth woman to have taken 100 One Day International wickets for Australia.

At the domestic level, Jonassen captains the Queensland Fire in the Women's National Cricket League (WNCL) and the Brisbane Heat in the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL).
